Our Approach

Understand, Analyse and Re-engineer

Icon

Understand

Map how the business actually runs today, function by function, including the workarounds that never made it into a manual.

Icon

Analyse

Identify gaps, duplication, manual handoffs and control weaknesses, and establish where time and cost are being lost.

Icon

Re-engineer

Redesign workflows around the outcome rather than the existing department structure, and standardise where variation adds no value.

Icon

Automate

Apply automation to processes that are worth automating, once they have been simplified rather than before.

Icon

Integrate

Align the redesigned processes with the right ERP platform and connect the systems that support them.

Icon

Measure

Define KPIs and management reporting so improvement stays visible and is sustained after go-live.

What You Gain

The Business Case for Re-engineering First

Icon

Processes That Match the Business

Workflows reflect how your organisation actually operates, not how a software template assumes it does.

Icon

Less Manual Rework

Duplicate data entry, manual reconciliation and informal workarounds are designed out rather than automated.

Icon

Clearer Accountability

Ownership, approvals and internal controls are defined at each step of the redesigned process.

Icon

Better ERP Fit

Requirements are built from redesigned processes, which makes platform selection and configuration far more accurate.

Icon

A Cleaner Implementation

Fewer change requests and less rework during the ERP project itself, because the process questions are already settled.

Icon

Reporting You Can Manage With

KPIs and management reporting structures are defined during redesign, so performance can be tracked from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions About Process Re-engineering

Collaboratively supply bricks-and-clicks metrics for maintainable users

  • What is business process re-engineering?
It is a structured review and redesign of how work actually gets done in your organisation. Rather than accepting existing workflows and automating them, we examine why each step exists, remove duplication and manual handoffs, and rebuild the process around the outcome it is meant to produce.
  • Why do this before choosing an ERP?
ERP selection and configuration are driven by requirements. If those requirements come from processes that are inefficient or undocumented, you end up paying to automate the inefficiency. Redesigning first produces cleaner requirements, a more accurate platform choice and fewer change requests during implementation.
  • How long does a re-engineering engagement take?
It depends on the number of functions in scope, how well current processes are documented and how quickly decisions can be made. A focused review of one or two functions is considerably shorter than an organisation-wide redesign. We scope this with you before starting.
  • Do we have to commit to an ERP project afterwards?
No. Re-engineering can be a standalone engagement. You receive the As-Is and To-Be documentation, the gap analysis and the recommendations, and you decide what to do with them.
  • Will this disrupt day-to-day operations?
The analysis phase is largely interviews, observation and document review, and is designed to work around your operating schedule. Changes to live processes are planned with you and rolled out in a controlled sequence rather than all at once.
